Oooh Wheeeat Pale Ale 4.6% ABV | 40 IBU
Based on the catchphrase of one of our favorite Rick & Morty characters, Oooh-Wheeeat is a wild and zany pale ale that combines the refreshing nature of a wheat ale with the juicy and danky characteristics of American hops. Idaho 7, Simcoe, Citra, and Sultana provide flavors of fruit punch, mandarin orange, watermelon, apricot, papaya, and pine. This one will have you upbeat in no time! Oooh Weee!
Ice Cutter Kölsch 5.2% ABV | 25 IBU
In the winter after Thomas Sloan flooded his farm, he would cut ice from the lake and sell it to local breweries. As most brewers in the day were of German descent, a Kölsch style beer could have been produced. Our Kölsch is a classic interpretation of the style, very smooth & drinkable like a lager with a light fruit flavor from ale fermentation. It has moderate levels of bitterness and noble hop flavor & a crisp, dry finish. Nothing pairs better with our lakeside view than our Kölsch.
Tetto - Italian style Pilsner 5% ABV | 40 IBU
"Tetto" is Italian for rooftop, and although it is available downstairs as well, we think it will truly shine on the upstairs deck. We use a blend of Southern Passion, Hallertau, and Saphir hops for pleasant floral, herbal, and earthy characteristics with a touch of red berries and passionfruit. We chose a malt that was grown near the Adriatic Sea near Venice to highlight the terroir of the region and stay traditional to this emerging style.
Chase Street Saison 5% ABV | 30 IBU
The latest in our Edgewater Street Series is Chase Street Saison! Since Chase Street only has two blocks inside Edgewater, we decided to only use two different varieties of grain, yeast, and hops for this recipe, with the hops (Calypso and Callista) both starting with C for Chase Street. Look for lemon-lime, pear, floral, apricot, and fresh pineapple flavors with a light pepper spice. If you happen to live on Chase Street in Edgewater, you get 10% off this beer, on tap and to go!
Seashells At Your Feet - Blood Orange Gose 4.8% ABV | 15 IBU
With its combination of sour, salt, and citrus, Gose is perhaps the world’s most refreshing beer style. Our example, Seashells at Your Feet, is no exception. The base was kettle soured for 18 hours before adding pink Himalayan sea salt to the boil. During fermentation we infused the beer with blood orange purée rather than traditional coriander. As we rollover from summer to fall, this delightful German style ale is certain to become one of your favorites.
Schwarzy - Schwarzbier 5.4% ABV | 25 IBU
Schwarzbier literally translates to “black beer” in German, but this black lager is much lighter in terms of mouthfeel and flavor impact than its color implies. A dark bread character with a surprisingly small amount of chocolate and roast come from the malt, while Hallertau and Tettnanger hops provide pleasant floral and earthy flavors with a touch of herbal spiciness. Lager fermentation accentuates the malt flavors while finishing clean and keeping the drinkability high. Schwarzy is perfect for any season, but is even more appropriate during these awesome Colorado autumns.
Benton Street Session IPA 4.6% ABV | 40 IBU
The second release in our Edgewater Street Series is a representation of the type of hoppy beer our brewers would have in their fridge and enjoy on their patio. We kept the focus on the hop bouquet, with cantaloupe, peach, passionfruit, and a touch of piney dank character coming from the use of Huell Melon, Galaxy, and Cashmere. It has a lighter body with a moderate bitterness, which combined with the lower ABV keeps this extremely sessionable. If you live on Benton Street in Edgewater, you get 10% off this beer!
Fresh Nugz - Wet Hop IPA 6.4% ABV | 50 IBU
Fresh Nugz and Fresh Budz are very similar, both being wet hop IPAs using hops from High Wire and grain from Root Shoot Malting. Where they differ is what hops were used. Nugz uses a blend of three different Colorado grown hops: Nugget, Chinook, and Cascade. You’ll sget citrus and piney characteristics from Cascade, while the Nugget and Chinook provide additional woodsy, danky, and stone fruit flavors. There’s nothing like some Fresh Nugz..
The IPA Experiment #14 6.6% ABV | 55 IBU
For this experimental series, we play around with some of the hottest hops on the market in order to make delicious west coast style IPAs. The fourteenth in the series was brewed with Azacca, Sultana, El Dorado, and Hallertau Blanc. Look for notes of sweet grapefruit, candied pineapple, mango, and white grape. This is a series we’re planning to keep hoppin’ for some time.
OG Pils - German Style Pilsner 4.8% ABV | 30 IBU
This style of beer was originally brewed in Germany in the 1870’s and is now brought to you by Edgewater’s Original Brewery. Grainy sweetness and a hint of honey from German grown Pilsner malt is in the background behind the bitterness and flavors from a blend of three German hops, Hallertau, Tettnanger, and Saphir, which add an intense floral character with some herbal spice and tangerine hints. German yeast finishes clean and dry. Like a true OG, this beer is the boss.
That Would Really Hit the Spot Hefeweizen 5% ABV | 15 IBU
Ever since we opened up over 6 years ago, our Brewmaster’s father has always asked us to brew a Hefeweizen, telling us it would “really hit the spot.” We hope we hit the mark with this classic interpretation of the style. This German wheat has banana and clove flavors from the yeast and a very low hop presence. Overall, you’ll find this beer light, thirst quenching, and perfectly refreshing. Dare we say that it will really hit the spot?
Black Razz Blonde 5.2% ABV | 20 IBU
Black Razz is in your face with fruit flavor and aroma. This beer takes our Brewmaster back to summers spent in Northern Wisconsin when he’d pick wild blackberries and raspberries with his grandparents. We used nearly 400 lbs of fruit puree with the mix being about 57% blackberry. This “blonde” pours a beautiful purple/pink color and has a faint fruit tartness on the back end. It’s berry good Black Razz !
Rogtoberfest German style Märzen 5.1% ABV | 23 IBU
Named after our beloved mascot, Roger the Elephant, Rogtoberfest celebrates the arrival of Autumn with this classic interpretation of the Märzen style. The color, as well as the delicate toasty and bready flavors, come from the use of 100% German Munich malt. Hops are restrained, providing just enough bitterness to prevent the beer from being too sweet. The yeast finishes dry and clean, allowing the supreme elegance of this malt forward beer to shine brighter than its hue.
Emerald Irish Stout - served on Nitro 4.1% ABV | 33 IBU
Emerald is a dry stout that is extremely sessionable. We used Maris Otter, roasted barley, flaked barley, East Kent Golding hops, and an Irish yeast strain to create rich, brownie like aromas which leads to a soft, roasted flavor with a creamy, smooth, and dry mouthfeel. Named after Emerald Street, the former name of 25th Ave, which was once lined with saloons and would've been a great St. Pat's destination.
Fresh Budz - Wet Hop IPA 6.6% ABV | 45 IBU
We worked with High Wire Hop Farm in Paonia, Colorado, to hand deliver us fresh Cascade hops straight off the bine. We also worked with Root Shoot Malting out of Loveland so you can taste the terroir in this all Colorado IPA. Wet hops impart a much different flavor and aroma than traditional dry hops, so harvest only comes once a year. Fresh Budz's hop flavor is like eating an orange while walking through a pine forest. Come hang out with your Budz!
The IPA Experiment #15 7.2% ABV | 50 IBU
For this experimental series, we play around with some of the hottest hops on the market in order to make delicious west coast style IPAs. The fifteenth in the series was brewed with Citra, Mosaic, El Dorado, Simcoe, and Apollo. Look for notes of peach, pear, papaya, grapefruit, and fresh cut cedar. This is a series we’re planning to keep hoppin’ for some time.
Worth A Shot Double IPA 8.5% ABV | 80 IBU
Even when the odds may be stacked against your favor, sometimes you have to take a shot. With that philosophy in mind, we designed Worth A Shot Double IPA to be submitted into the Great American Beer Festival, despite there being 170+ entires in that category last year. Worst case scenario? We make a fantastic beer. We took what we loved about our flagship Joyride DIPA and lightened it up a bit, then added Centennial and Mosaic to our standard dose of Simcoe and Citra. Tangerine, strawberry, blueberry, peach, passionfruit, pine, and grapefruit flavors ooze out of this excellent west coast DIPA.
