What do you do at Joyride?

Well, aside from petting dogs and having a good time, I also bartend, serve, and two nights a week I’m the shift supervisor.

Where are you from, and when did you move to Colorado?

I am originally from Phoenix, AZ, but when I was 6, my family moved to the central valley of California where I spent the next fifteen years going to school and being a kid. My family relocated to Colorado in August of 2006.

Why did you move to Colorado?

My mom, step-dad and brother were relocating to Denver and I wasn’t going to be left behind, I love my family.

What did you do before Joyride?

Before working at Joyride, I served and bartended at various restaurants around town, as well as following my love of photography.

What’s your favorite thing about working at Joyride?

Joyride is just an awesome place to work, we are encouraged to have fun while serving our guests, we get to drink and learn about beer, and pet dogs all day!

What do you like to do for fun when you’re not working?

The great outdoors always calls my name. I love snowboarding, hiking, golfing, photography, and traveling when I can.

What’s your favorite type of music/band?

I don’t have favorites when it comes to music; it just depends on my mood. Country, Alternative, Hip Hop.

What’s your all time favorite beer?

Hard to pick one, but if I must, Raspberry Tart from New Glarus Brewing.

Favorite beer Joyride has ever made?

I always look forward to the Black Razz Blonde. Yumm.

Favorite Joyride beer currently on tap?

Joyride Double IPA, always delicious!

You’re stuck on a desert island and can only drink one style of beer for the rest of your life. What is it?

A double IPA because I’m gonna need to get drunk!

Favorite place you’ve ever visited?

Recently I traveled to Cuba and it was an amazing trip. The people, music, culture, and atmosphere…it was a place I will always remember and I hope to visit again someday. I recommend it to everyone.
