What do you do at Joyride?
I started out doing security for the brewery at the fifth anniversary party and then that worked into me being a bar back during the summer busy times.

What part of Colorado are you from?
I was born and raised in the west side of town, the Applewood area.

What’s the best part about being a Colorado native?
It gives you everything you want in a lifestyle. It’s a place you always want to come back to.

What did you do before Joyride?
I was in the military at young age. I’ve done a lot of carpentry and home building, sold lotta cars and RVs, just about done it all.

What’s your favorite thing about working at Joyride?
The young people that work here really keep me on my toes. It’s great socializing with such a young crowd and it’s a good workout.

What do you like to do for fun when you’re not working?
I like to pheasant hunt, fish, and drink beer.

What’s your favorite type of music/band?
I’m all over the board. I enjoy country, both the new stuff that’s out and the oldies.

What’s your all time favorite beer?
IPAs. I also like stouts.

Favorite beer Joyride has ever made?
One of the fall seasonals, Touchdown Brown Ale.

Favorite Joyride beer currently on tap?
Ah, Ale Yeah #8 – Hazy Pale Ale

You’re stuck on a desert island and can only drink one style of beer for the rest of your life. What is it?
It would have to be a double IPA.

Favorite place you’ve ever visited?
Our own backyard, western Colorado.

When can people normally find you at Joyride?
If I’m not working I’m usually here enjoying a beer.
