FLAGSHIP BEERS

Ice Cutter Kolsch
5.4% | 25 IBU | 3 SRM

In the winter after Thomas Sloan flooded his farm, he would cut ice from the lake and sell it to local breweries. As most brewers in the day were of German decent, a Kolsch style beer could have been produced. Our Kolsch is a classic interpretation of the style. It’s very smooth and drinkable like a lager, but has a light fruit flavor from ale fermentation. It has moderate levels of bitterness and noble hop flavor and a crisp, dry finish. Nothing pairs better with our lakeside view than our Kolsch.

Antelope Amber Ale
6.1% ABV | 50 IBU | 17 SRM

Antelope is a bold, rich and hoppy American Amber that leaps across your tongue. Antelope weaves caramel, nutty and dark fruit flavors from five premium malts with the citrus characteristics from four types of American hops to create this delicious and drinkable ale. Let this one run out of control.

Bear Paw Oatmeal Milk Stout
7% ABV | 45 IBU | 32 SRM

The Bear Paw is a deliciously decadent Sweet Stout that is robust and silky smooth. Seven different malts create chocolate, roast, caramel and coffee flavors, while six pounds of lactose sugar per barrel balance it out with a velvety sweetness. The flaked oats contribute to a luscious mouthfeel that will leave you wanting another glass. It may seem cute and cuddly, but at 7%, this one’s got some claws.

Cougar Pale Ale
5% ABV | 40 IBU | 10 SRM

Cougar Pale Ale is west coast inspired with a touch of English character. We use a method known as “hop bursting” and add all of the hops after the boil during our whirlpool. This gives the beer an extremely soft and pleasant bitterness while maximizing hop flavor and aroma. We also add Maris Otter malt as about 20% of the grist to provide a more toasty and bready malt backbone. Take a Cougar home tonight!

Edgewater IPA
7% ABV | 70 IBU | 10 SRM

Edgewater IPA is a west coast style IPA that bursts out of the glass. We use obscene amounts of Apollo and Chinook with a touch of Amarillo hops to layer citrus, piney, resiny and floral characteristics across your pallet. The hop explosion and dry finish make this extremely drinkable and enjoyable. Edgewater. This is our town. This is our IPA. Take it for a ride.

Edgewater Double IPA
9.0% ABV | 100+ IBU | 8 SRM

Calling all Hop Heads, this beer is for you! We used three pounds of hops per barrel to give our Double IPA an aggressive and delicious hop profile. We used 4 different types of American and German malts, but the hops are definitely the star here. We did 7 different additions of Simcoe and Citra hops to layer piney, citrus, tropical fruit and melon flavors into this dangerously drinkable ale. It is served in a 10 oz snifter glass at $5.00 a glass, and growlers are $4 extra, no Happy Hour pricing.

SEASONAL BEERS

Give Peach a Chance

Our Spring seasonal that is tart, sweet and delicious. We added Lactobacillus to our boil kettle and allowed it to run wild in the wort for 48 hours, leaving a lactic tartness. At the end fo fermentation, we added over 300 lbs of peach puree, which counters the tartness with pleasant sweetness and terrific peach flavor. All we are saying... is Give Peach a Chance.

Summer Ale

Our Summer Seasonal is our version of a Belgian Witbier. Brewed with orange and lemon peel, as well as coriander and seeds of paradise, our Wit intertwines citrus and peppery spice notes to create an incredibly refreshing summer ale. Belgian yeast contributes a slight tartness with a touch of clove to round out the spice profile. Make sure to try this summer treat before autumn comes!

Scarecrow Pumpkin Ale

Our Autumn seasonal. We used English Marris Otter with a touch of rye and caramel malt to create the malt base that reminds of pie crust, then added in Willamette and Kent Golding hops. To add the spice component, we used ground Saigon Cassia cinnamon, organic ground Peruvian Ginger, ground Grenada nutmeg, ground Jamaican allspice berries, organic Madagascar vanilla beans and pureed pumpkin. The result is a balanced and drinkable spiced ale. Have some before winter comes, and don’t anger the Scarecrow!

Black Razz Blonde

In the winter after Thomas Sloan flooded his farm, he would cut ice from the lake and sell it to local breweries. As most brewers in the day were of German decent, a Kolsch style beer could have been produced. Our Kolsch is a classic interpretation of the style. It’s very smooth and drinkable like a lager, but has a light fruit flavor from ale fermentation. It has moderate levels of bitterness and noble hop flavor and a crisp, dry finish. Nothing pairs better with our lakeside view than our Kolsch.

Touchdown Brown

Touchdown is an American Brown Ale that’ll make you want to stand up and cheer. We used seven different American and British malts that contribute chocolate, caramel and nutty flavors and combined them with UK Kent Golding hops for bittering and a large addition of Cascade and CTZ at the end to add citrus, herbal & earthy notes. Go for the end zone with TD Brown!

Alpenglow Winter Warmer

An alpenglow is the glow you observe on the horizon opposite the sun, just before sunrise or just after sunset. You’ll pick up notes of toffee, caramel and dried fruit, before finishing slightly sweet with a moderate bitterness. This beer was brewed with a blend of Saigon Cassia cinnamon, organic ground Peruvian Ginger, ground Grenada nutmeg, ground Jamaican allspice berries and sweet orange peel. At 7.7% ABV, we’re sure you’ll be “glowing” to each side of the sky.
