What do you do at Joyride?
I am a Certified Beer Server from the Cicerone® program. You’ll find me Beertendin’.

Where are you from, and when did you move to Colorado?
I am originally from Southern California and moved to Colorado in 2004.

Why did you move to Colorado?
Originally, I came out to work on the I-25 Corridor Light Rail Project.

What did you do before Joyride?
I was and currently still am a Bartender at Denver Deep Dish in LoHi.

What’s your favorite thing about working at Joyride?
I really love the atmosphere here, everything from the patrons, dogs, and especially my co-workers.

What do you like to do for fun when you’re not working?
You can either catch me at a local Bar/Brewery hanging out, golfing, or catching something tasty somewhere.

What’s your favorite type of music/band?
Tough question, I really appreciate all kinds of music. Anything from old school surf punk like The Ramones and Agent Orange, to Reggae, or some good old fashioned 80’s hits.

Favorite beer section:
What’s your all time favorite beer?
My all time favorite beer would be Anchor Steam…Light rich, bready malt character that eventually turns to a light toast as the beer warms with a slight bitter close.

Favorite beer Joyride has ever made?
Belgian Strong Dark…Side of the Moon!!!

Favorite Joyride beer currently on tap?
Currently on tap, my favorite is and always will be the Joyride Double…..Beer Shots anyone?……..

You’re stuck on a desert island and can only drink one style of beer for the rest of your life. What is it?
If I was stranded on a desert island, I would hope I had an endless supply of E.S.B.’s. They’re well balanced and have all the characteristics I love in a beer.

Favorite place you’ve ever visited?
I would have to say Maui, Hawaii… surfing, sun, drinks, good eats and beautiful scenery…….That reminds me, better get a trip booked soon!

When can people normally find you at Joyride?
You can catch me at Joyride Tuesday Nights, as well as Thursday – Sunday nights. Stop on in, have a pint and say hi! I look forward to seeing you.
